To give, and not to count the cost St Ignatius

O God, who raised up Saint Ignatius of Loyola in your Church

To further the greater glory of your name,

Grant that by his help we may imitate him

In fighting the good fight on earth

And merit to receive with him a crown in heaven.

Whatever you eat, whatever you drink, whatever you do at all, do it for the glory of God.
First reading

Thus says the Lord: I have come to cast fire on the earth, And how I wish that it were kindled!
Communion Antiphon

How happy are the poor in spirit; Theirs in the kingdom of heaven.
Gospel Acclamation

I sought the Lord and he answered me; From all my terrors he set me free.
Psalm 33

Never do anything offensive to anyone.
Corinthians 10: 32

Slowly I try to allow the Spirit of my God of unending kindness to give me the wisdom to open myself to what he wants to show me in my prayers this week …

‘… for the glory of God.’ How can I follow this path in my life …?

What do I find myself saying to the Lord as I end my prayer?
