Listening and Discerning for Spiritual Accompaniment

The aim of this weekend is to provide participants with opportunities to reflect on and practise their listening and discernment skills to help people better recognise God in their lives.
The weekend will consist of short inputs on listening and discerning based on Ignatian Spirituality with demonstrations and practical sessions where the theory can be put into practice in observed 1-1 conversations.
This course will supplement the listening skills sections of the Ignatian Spiritual Accompaniment Course and may be used in preparation for the Spiritual Direction Course, but will be useful to anyone with previous experience and training who is actively engaged in listening to others in a 1-1 spiritual context.
It costs around £24,000 per week to run St Beuno’s. The suggested offerings indicated help us to cover our costs, but no-one should feel excluded for financial reasons and bursaries are available. Click HERE for further details.
