In recent years there has been a retreat for men at St Beuno’s.  This year we’re offering the retreat online and keeping it simple.  There is no formal charge for this weekend retreat.  It’s a chance to pray and share with other men.  When we look at Jesus’ ministry, we see him interacting with all sorts of different individuals and groups: women, mothers with children, foreigners, his own people, outcasts, mixed groups, and men on their own including his particular friends.  Sometimes it was just the women and sometimes it was just the men.  Given that men are less likely to sign up for a retreat than women we think it’s worth having a ‘men only’ gathering, this year online, to explore together how Jesus is wanting to relate to us as men in our times.

Our experience is, that men have really benefited from the opportunity to come together, and we are offering this on-line gathering to explore how Jesus is wanting to relate to men in our times.

The commitment for the weekend is as follows: Friday 3rd July 8pm – 9pm; Saturday 10am – 12noon; and 8pm – 9pm; Sunday 3pm.  We’ll also give you something to do on your own on the Saturday so you would need some space that day too.  (This might get you out of mowing the lawn.)  It is most helpful to the coherence of the group that everyone attends every session.

To register interest and receive the zoom link for the weekend, email St Beuno’s at [email protected] explaining that you are wishing to join the men’s online retreat.  And we hope to see you on the 3rd.
